● The plain-English version

What you actually need to know

  • We collect the info you give us (when you book a call, use a tool on our site, or work with us) and some basic info about how you use our website.
  • We use it to reply to you, run our service, and improve our marketing — nothing creepy.
  • We never sell your data. We only share it with the trusted tools that run our business.
  • When we build your AI Assistant, you stay in control and you own everything — we don't keep your business data after handover, and we never use it to train public AI models.
  • Want your data, want it fixed, or want it gone? Just email us and we'll sort it.

01 Who we are

SaveFounders.ai ("SaveFounders.ai", "we", "us" or "our") helps founders get time back by building them an AI Assistant and training them to run it.

This website and our services are operated by SaveFounders Pty Ltd, ABN 83 699 713 892, of 1 Ross Street, Surrey Hills VIC 3127, Australia.

We're committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and we apply equivalent care for our US clients.

02 What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to:

  • our website at savefounders.ai and any landing pages, quizzes, calculators or forms we run;
  • booking and attending an eligibility call with us;
  • our paid services (Done-With-You Setup & Training, and Done-For-You engagements); and
  • our emails, ads and other communications.

It does not cover third-party websites or tools we link to — each has its own privacy policy.

03 Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, email, phone number and business name (for example, when you book a call, fill in a form, or use one of our tools).
  • Business information — details about your business, your role, your tools and where you're losing time, so we can assess fit and tailor our help. This may come up in a quiz, a form, or during a call.
  • Anything you send us — the content of emails, messages and call discussions.
  • Session recordings — our working calls and sessions with you are recorded and transcribed by default, so we have an accurate record of what was agreed and built. You consent to this in your service agreement, and you can ask us to delete the recordings once your engagement ends.
  • Payment information — we invoice you and you pay by bank transfer. We keep records of your invoices and payments, but we don't collect or store card details.

Information we collect automatically

  • Usage & device data — your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, how you arrived (e.g. which ad or link), and how you interact with our site.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — see Cookies & tracking below.

Information from third parties

  • Advertising & analytics platforms — such as Google, which tells us how our ads and site are performing.
  • Referrals — if someone refers you, we may receive your name and contact details to follow up.

04 How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and run your eligibility call;
  • assess whether our service is a fit for you, and deliver it if you go ahead;
  • process payments and keep records of our engagement;
  • send you service updates, and (with your consent) marketing about SaveFounders.ai;
  • understand and improve our website, ads and offer;
  • keep our business secure and meet our legal obligations.

We only use your information for the reasons we collected it, for a directly related reason you'd reasonably expect, or where you've given consent or the law allows.

05 Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and show you relevant ads. These include:

  • Essential cookies — needed for the site to function.
  • Analytics cookies — e.g. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to see how the site is used (Microsoft Clarity may record how you move through and interact with pages).
  • Advertising cookies / pixels — e.g. Google Ads tags, to measure ad performance and reach the right people.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalised ads via Google Ads Settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

06 When we share your information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run our business, with:

  • The tools that run SaveFounders.ai — for example our CRM (HubSpot), booking tool (Cal.com), email and workspace (Google), website hosting (Vercel), and advertising/analytics platforms (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity).
  • Professional advisers — such as our accountants or lawyers, where reasonably required.
  • Authorities — if we're legally required to, or to protect our rights, your safety, or others'.
  • A buyer — if our business is ever sold or restructured (your information stays protected under this policy).

We choose reputable providers and only share what's necessary for them to do their job.

07 Your information during a build

This part matters, so we're being clear about it. When we build and train your AI Assistant, we may help you connect it to your own business tools (like your email, calendar or documents). When we do:

  • we only access what's needed to set up and train your assistant, with your permission;
  • you stay in the driver's seat — your assistant can't send or delete things without you;
  • we never hold your passwords or logins — you stay signed in on your own devices while we guide you;
  • you own everything we build — at handover, the accounts, tools and assistant are yours. There's no lock-in;
  • your business data stays inside your own accounts and subscriptions — we don't move it into SaveFounders' systems, and we never use it to train public AI models;
  • AI features run through trusted providers such as Anthropic (Claude), under commercial terms that don't train on your data and are backed by a data-processing agreement; the exact platform and plan are confirmed with you at kick-off.

The specific terms of a paid engagement are set out in your service agreement, which sits alongside this policy.

08 Where your information is stored & overseas disclosure

We're based in Australia, but some of the tools we use (such as Google, HubSpot, Vercel, Microsoft and Anthropic) store data on servers in the United States and other countries.

That means your personal information may be stored or processed overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers protect your information to a standard consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

09 How we keep your information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access — including using reputable, access-controlled tools, limiting who can see your data, and keeping our systems up to date.

No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but if a data breach occurs that's likely to cause serious harm, we'll act in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and let you and the regulator know where required.

10 How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it — to provide our services, run our business, and meet our legal and tax obligations (generally up to 7 years for financial records). When we no longer need it, we securely delete or de-identify it.

11 Marketing & how to opt out

If you've enquired, used one of our tools, or become a client, we may send you marketing emails about SaveFounders.ai. You can opt out any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. We'll action it promptly, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We'll still send you essential service messages (like booking confirmations).

12 Your privacy rights

You can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that's wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information, where we're not required to keep it;
  • opt out of marketing; and
  • complain if you think we've mishandled your information.

Just email us (see below). We'll usually respond within 30 days. There's no charge to make a request, though we may need to verify who you are first.

13 Children's privacy

Our services are for business owners and aren't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us their information, let us know and we'll delete it.

14 Third-party links

Our site and emails may link to other websites and tools we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices — check their own policies before sharing information with them.

15 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give you reasonable notice. The latest version always lives on this page.
